FAQ
How long does an Oil Filled Radiator take to heat a room?
An Oil Filled Radiator takes longer to reach full temperature than a Fan Heater, but it keeps giving off heat for longer, which makes it well suited to steady, all-day warmth.
Are Fan Heaters expensive to run?
Our Ceramic Fan Heaters heat quickly and have an adjustable thermostat that switches them off once your chosen temperature is reached, so they suit warming one space rather than the whole home.
Can I use a Heater in a bathroom?
Always check the water resistance rating of the specific product before using any Electric Heater in a bathroom, and follow the safety guidance supplied with it.
Do Fan Heaters dry out the air?
Like most heating methods, a Fan Heater can create a drying effect in an enclosed space. Using a Humidifier alongside can help balance humidity if this is a concern.
What safety features should I look for in a Heater?
Look for overheat protection, a tip-over switch and an adjustable thermostat. Our Oil Filled Radiator and Ceramic Fan Heaters all include overheat protection and tip-over protection.
Can Heaters be used in a caravan or shed?
Our portable Oil Filled Radiator and Fan Heaters suit spaces such as caravans, sheds and garages, provided the space is ventilated and has safe electrical access.
