How does an Evaporative Air Cooler work?
It draws warm air through ice-cooled water and a honeycomb cooling filter, then circulates a cooler, refreshing stream of air around the room.
Is an Air Cooler as effective as Air Conditioning?
An Air Cooler works differently from an Air Conditioner, so it is not a like-for-like replacement. It is a lower energy way to add a cooling breeze to bedrooms, living rooms and home offices, and our 5L model uses an efficient 55W motor.
How often do I need to refill the water tank?
The removable 5L tank provides up to 10 hours of cooling, so plan to refill it after that.
Can an Air Cooler also work as a Fan?
Yes. Our 5L model is a 3-in-1 Air Cooler, Tower Fan and Humidifier, with Air Cooling, Fan, Natural and Night modes.
Do Air Coolers need ice to work?
No, cold water is enough. Adding the two reusable ice packs supplied with our 5L Evaporative Air Cooler boosts the cooling effect.
Is the Air Cooler quiet and easy to control?
Yes. It runs at around 40dB with three fan speeds, 60 degree oscillation, a 7 hour timer and a remote control.
